WATSON INDUSTRIES, INC.
Watson Industries designs, develops and manufactures precision instrumentation
products for the transportation, telecommunications, oceanographic, scientific research,
aerospace as well as many defense and commercial industries.
Welcome to 2017! It’s hard to believe that 2016 has come to an end. Watson Industries hopes you had a wonderful and restful
holiday. Are you are ready to conquer the New Year with us?
2016 was a year of transition for Watson Industries. Our founder William Watson passed away. We want to assure you we are
continuing to move forward with the same values Mr. Watson established: honesty, respect, sincerity and always taking the time
to listen to your needs.
We are excited to see what 2017 brings us!
We are now offering free calibrations for all products that are in their warranty period.
Our website (www.watson-gyro.com) has been updated to include easier access to all of our
product information. This information includes:
- Product manuals
- Product specifications
- Aerospace, land and ocean applications that include a link to the suggested product solutions.
- A section for Useful Designs. This is a section that everyone can submit a design and share.

ADS-C232-3A – We are redesigning our ADS-C132-1A and ADS-C232-1A vertical reference sensors. The new design will be
much smaller (approximately 2.8″L x 1.2″W x 1.2″H) and more durable than the current designs. The sensor will still
include analog outputs for attitude and angular rate. The unit will also include a digital interface. This will make
the sensor much more versatile and cost effective.
The SMS-P233 stabilizes its payload in the
bank and elevation axis. The system keeps its payload level regardless of vehicle movement.
The SPS-P230 stabilizes its payload on two
axes (typically pan and tilt). Inside the durable housing, the stable mount includes two gyros and a triaxial accelerometer.
A joystick controller allows the operator to position the platform.
Both sensors offer the following features:
- 50 kg Payload
- High Stability
- High Reliability
- Low Cost
- Low Noise
- Two Year Limited Warranty
- Engineering Support for Custom Designs
Some of the many air, sea and ground uses for this platform include:
- Mobile CCTV
- Video and Film Camera Stabilization
- Antenna Stabilization
- Range Finders
- Stabilized Lighting
- Aerial Photo Survey
- Coastal Surveillance
Feel free to call with any needs or questions. We look forward to working together to make 2017 the best year for you and your business.
